NoVa Synchro Starts 2008-2009 Season with Fall Figure Meet; Gistaro and Block Register Wins
NoVa Synchro sent 13 athletes to the 2008 Fall Figure Meet, where the team showcased the technical skills that they have developed and refined since the start of the season two months ago. Courtney Gistarto came away from her first meet with a gold medal in the 13-15 Intermediate division, while Cassie Block scored top honors in the 10&Under Age Group division. The team will start their competetive season on November 9 with the Fall Figure Meet in Laurel, MD.
NoVa Synchro Turns in Outstanding Finishes at Nationals
NoVa Syncrho finished out a strong season at the 13-15 Age Group National Championships, where their routines finished higher than any other routines from Virginia in that age group. See the press release for more information.
